It's 31 degrees Celsius and I'm still thinking it's fall even the weather is super hot and sunny. I live in between.
NYFW is coming on Thursday. I wish I could be there. I always have a dream to come to New York to watch New York Fashion Week live. In years later, perhaps? InshaAllah. Let's dream it! And make it! It would be amazing to see Alexander Wang, Rachel Zoe, Phillip Lim, and Proenza Schouler-their pieces of art come alive down on the runway. Meeting street style and watching them got shot by street style photographer, seeing important in this fashion industry. I would be something that I can't never explain.
I've been keeping my eyes on what's going on with fashion in Indonesia. There's a lot of local brand here is currently growing. The quality that they give to us is no question ask. Even some people still asking. I know that they afraid local stuff is not good. Import stuff is. That's not true. Both are great. I keep finding new local brands (or maybe I didn't know before) every time.
Sometimes, I always have this thought: "I don't wanna look like other. I wanna have one of kind fashion items." That's sometimes makes me stupid. Last year I lost a lot of my clothing items including the vintage ones. I can never be angry at someone. How I show my angry is crying or shutting up then thinking. When, I lost my clothes I know literally that this is the side effect having them: you can't find them again in similar. Now, I starting to buy anything that I like lol. But, still stay on my budget, of course!
I wore this overall only twice (including this post), It's pretty much challenging pairing an overall with anything in my closet and how to make me not looked like a farmer. I decided to wear this outfit to the mall last weekend.
Last semester, I had an exhibition as the finale of last semester hectic season. Everyone of us, should make a visual identity of a fictional brand that we created. I got into the beauty and health group. That's why I chose to make a cosmetic brand. My (fictional) cosmetic brand is called Mod.east. It needs a very very long brand description, I think I'm gonna skip this part. I've been worked on this visual identity for about 16 weeks including finding brand name, logo, designing, and production. I didn't just designing the packaging, but also on office letters, envelopes, graphic manual, business card, campaign, etc. But, I'm just gonna show the packaging design only just simply because I love my works ♥ (and this is related to fashion, the office stationary are not! hehe)
I'm in love with tweed since two years ago, I guess. I'm so excited for tweed this spring. I was inspired with Chanel Spring Summer 2014 collection, tweed everywhere! I think tweed is so chic. Whatever the design of the piece, it always make you look chic in a second. That's when the jacket is found. I didn't buy it everywhere. I found it in my mom's closet. She doesn't wear it for years! That's why I didn't know that she has it! It's from early 1800, I haven't been born. I still want to buy tweed pieces in other designs. I want to collect them!
